Sensor Bow Line Adjustment

Proper tension in the Sensor Bow Line is critical to insure that the sensor does not pitch under a wave. As seen in this picture, the line is straight or taught and snug when the sensor is in the down position. Periodically, check the tension, an easy way to adjust it, is to put a small knot in the line to shorten. Note, the Ketterman TriFoiler boats made prior to Hobie Cat, did not have any provision for such a line. It must be added before your next sea trial.--Factory Guy 03:27, 21 May 2011 (UTC)
